The Downers Grove Public Library serves the information, education, inspiration, and entertainment needs of the 48,000 residents of Downers Grove, Illinois.
By providing public access to more than 300,000 items, the library freely extends to all the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. In addition to books, movies, and CDs, the library now offers digital and streamed content for devices, computer training, and even media equipment for recording and editing video footage.
With 30,000 residents as library cardholders, our community really uses the library. In fact, in 2015, Downers Grove residents checked out an average of 20 items per person!
