Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago has received state approval for its proposed $480 million pediatric hospital and outpatient center in Downers Grove!
The nearly 298,000-square-foot facility will feature 48 inpatient beds, an emergency department, surgical services, and specialized pediatric care. Expected to open in spring 2029, this significant investment will bring world-class healthcare closer to families throughout the western suburbs.
